How to use Feedbacks

Upload a 3D mesh, share a link, get annotations directly on your geometry. No plugins required for reviewers — everything happens in the browser.

1
Upload
Drag and drop your mesh (OBJ, GLB, GLTF, STL, FBX) or use the ZBrush / Blender plugin to export directly.
2
Share
Copy the session link and send it to your art director or client. They open it directly in the browser.
3
Annotate
Click on the mesh to place notes. Switch to Snapshot mode to draw paintovers directly on the 3D view.
4
Iterate
Check off completed notes, upload a new version for before/after comparison, and submit the review.
Owner
Full control
Create sessions, upload meshes, manage layers, delete any annotation. You own the review space.
Reviewer
Annotate & submit
Invited reviewers can annotate, reply, and submit their review. They cannot modify the session or mesh.
Guest
Quick feedback
No account required. Guests can leave up to 10 annotations per session and reply to any note.
01
3D Navigation
Orbit, zoom, pan, and frame the model without leaving the review. The viewer keeps the camera work simple and readable during feedback.
02
Annotations
Click directly on the mesh to place a note. The marker stays anchored in 3D so everyone reads feedback in the right place.
03
Snapshot & Paintover
Capture the current view, draw over it, and attach a paintover to the note. It is the fastest way to leave a visual correction on top of the 3D review.
04
Layers & Priority
Group notes by topic and priority so the review stays readable. Layers help separate anatomy, materials, polish, or client-facing notes cleanly.
05
Threads & Discussion
Reply directly on a note to keep the conversation attached to the issue instead of splitting the review across email or chat.
06
Before / After
Upload a new version and compare it against the previous pass to validate what changed and what is still unresolved.
Blender 3.0+
Export to FEEDBACKS in one click
The FEEDBACKS Blender add-on lives in the sidebar of your 3D viewport. Log in with your account, pick a session, and hit Export — your active object gets uploaded instantly and the browser opens on the review page. No manual file export needed.
Installation
1
Download the FEEDBACKS Blender Installer from the download page.
2
Run the installer. It installs the add-on into your Blender user add-on folders and attempts to enable it automatically.
3
Open Blender. The FEEDBACKS panel appears in View3D → Sidebar → FEEDBACKS.
4
Connect your account directly from the installer or the add-on panel. Browser pairing supports Google OAuth too, so there is no API key to paste manually.
🚀
One-click export
Export your current mesh to FEEDBACKS and jump straight into the browser review.
📄
Session picker
Create a new session or target an existing one directly from Blender.
🎨
Texture auto-detect
Reads Blender materials and pushes the main PBR maps into the current FEEDBACKS slot system.
💬
Annotations in Blender
Read notes from the Blender sidebar without losing context on the asset you are fixing.
🔒
Browser pairing auth
Works with FEEDBACKS login and Google sign-in without asking artists to paste an API key.
🔒
Password protection
Add a password to your session from the settings panel. Anyone opening the link will need to enter it before seeing the mesh.
🎨
Background image
Upload a reference image as background behind your mesh. Useful for matching proportions to concept art or turnaround sheets.
Mark as done
Check off annotations as you address them. Both the artist and reviewer can mark notes as done to track progress through the feedback.
📤
Export
Export your annotations as JSON for pipeline integration, or as a PNG screenshot with all markers visible for documentation.
Ready to review?
Upload your first mesh and share it with your team. Feedback stays attached to the model.
